We had a visit from the leprechauns! Yesterday before students went home they carefully set up their leprechaun traps….and this morning, the traps were all tripped!!

Little green feet covered the desks and a small gold nugget was discovered in each of the traps! Traps were tripped….but no leprechauns were trapped!

The students’ reactions were wonderful!

The traps were cleverly created, each with at least one moving part. I had students write about their plan to catch a leprechaun. Read on to see how the wheels were turning in kindergarten!
