In addition to our Lower School Earth Day Festival, the kindergartners celebrated Earth Day during Friday Fun!

First, students planted grass head. I will post a picture when they sprout.

Next, they made an Earth Day headband. Look how cute these turned out!

In the kitchen, students made Earth cookies. First students cut their piece of dough in half….I tied this to math of course!

The students mixed green food coloring into their dough ball. They then mixed blue food coloring into their remaining dough ball.

Look! Two colored dough balls!

Students rolled the two pieces of dough together, making a green and blue ball.

I put them into the oven, and after ten minutes, we had little earths! The students (and I) were very excited!
